Clear the Stuffy Nose w/ Essential Oils!

Have you woken up with your nose so stuffed you could barely take a breath in? I am sure we all have been there, and it can take quite a while to open up your nasal passages to allow that first full breath of the morning to come through. A lot of times people will turn to medication to help with the nasal passages, but medicine can be tough for the body to process and detoxify, and cause unnecessary stress to the liver. What I turn to is a natural substance the earth so graciously provides us with to do just the trick! When I get stuffed up, I use Peppermint Oil because of its bacteriastatic properties and its ability to promote bronchial tree relaxation for easier breathing.

You can take the Peppermint Oil and put 1-2 drops on the back of your hand, then lick the drops off. Once on your tongue, take a couple deep breaths in through your mouth to open up your sinuses. It clears your sinuses out almost instantaneously! For really stubborn colds, do this often.
*Please make sure to wash your hands with soap after placing the peppermint on the back of your hand. You do not want to rub this into your eyes.*
